WHERE I COME FROM

In 2009 my wife and I wanted to buy a home for us to start a family in. Having been born and raised in California neither one of us wanted to leave the state, like a lot of young couple’s affordability was a priority. We came to Corona because housing was affordable and because we both worked in Orange County, the drive seemed doable. Like many here we slugged it out on the 91 freeway daily for several years before we made the change to working locally. For 15 years I have worked supplying the construction industry.

In 2016 after remodeling our home, we decided that the house we were in wasn’t working for a family of three. Our son was born in 2014 and we needed something that would suit our life better. By this time, we had made Corona our home. We had friends here and had become part of the community. Leaving Corona did not sound like the right thing to do. Together we found our forever home in District 2, continue to lay down roots and never looked back.

In 2017 I wanted to add some educational achievements to my resume and completed an Organizational Leadership Program at UCR. I also serve as President of the school site council for my sons CNUSD elementary school. I enjoy riding my Harley Davidson when I can, smoking a good tri tip and spending time with my family and friends.

MISSION STATEMENT

District 2 Matters!

I first became aware of the Corona political machine when the local lumber yard I worked for had its world turned upside down in the name of progress. I did not understand how the city could treat a 40+ year local business with such indifference.

I started to attend city council meetings and educate myself and how things worked. I started to understand the key players and how long they had been around the city. Around the time we moved to our second house in Corona I realized that running for city council would be a way I could help affect the change that the city needed.

This campaign is the culmination of four long years of learning and planning. In the next four years the city will face monumental changes and the city needs leadership.
